§ 10-2. Authority and purpose.

This chapter is enacted pursuant to Fla. Const. art. VIII, § 2(b), and F.S. §§ 166.021 and 828.27 to regulate the possession, ownership, care, and custody of animals in the interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the city.
