§ 14-73. Classification of local licenses.

There shall be four classes of local licenses as follows:

(1)

Certified contractors, with categories which correspond to those established by Florida Statutes or Florida Administrative Code, as amended.

(2)

Registered contractor, with categories which have one or more licensed registered contractors on the effective date of the ordinance from which this division derives.

(3)

Local specialty contractors, with categories recommended by the board and approved by the city council as an amendment to this division and which do not conflict with those for certified contractor as provided in this division.

(4)

Journeyman, with categories for electrical journeyman, plumbing journeyman and mechanical journeyman.
