§ 14-190. Certified mechanical contractors required on mechanical work.

All mechanical work, unless exempted by law of the state, shall be performed only by a person holding a current and valid certificate of competency as a state certified mechanical contractor, registered mechanical contractor or mechanical journeyman; provided that each such contractor or journeyman shall allow unlicensed helpers or apprentices to perform mechanical work on any job under the direct personal supervision of such contractor or journeyman.
