§ 14-269. Violations and penalties.

(a)

Any person violating any provision of this article shall be deemed guilty of a violation of a municipal ordinance and shall be punished in accordance with section 1-8 of this Code.

(b)

In addition, failure of the services of the design professional or special inspectors to be performed as prescribed herein shall cause any or all of the following actions by the chief building official:

(1)

Denial of building permits for the threshold building;

(2)

Stop work order being issued on all phases of construction of the threshold building; and/or

(3)

Denial of certificate of occupancy for the threshold building.
