§ 18-256. Records and inspection of records.

  • (a)

    Each adult entertainment establishment shall maintain a worker record for each worker who currently works for or performs at the establishment, and each worker who formerly worked for or performed at the establishment during the preceding one year period.

    (1)

    The record shall contain each such current or former worker's full legal name, including any aliases, date of birth, residential address, residential telephone number, social security number, driver's license number or state of federally-issued identification card number, and a recent photograph of the worker.

    (2)

    The record shall also describe the employment status of each worker, by indicating whether such worker is or was a paid employee for whom income taxes and social security payments are or were withheld or is or was a lessee, sublessee, independent contractor, or subcontractor.

    (b)

    The operator of the establishment shall keep the original worker records required by this subsection, or true and exact photocopies thereof, at the licensed location at all times.

    (c)

    Each operator of the establishment shall be responsible for knowing the location of the original records or the location of the true and exact photocopies thereof, of each worker record.

    (d)

    Each operator of the establishment shall, upon request by a law enforcement or code enforcement officer when the business is open, immediately make available for inspection the original records, or the true and exact photocopies thereof, of each worker record.
