§ 18-106. Operations.

  • (a)

    A complete inventory of all devices must be maintained on file with the city business tax receipt application. The inventory must be updated within ten days of any change of the device and must also be updated each year when the business tax receipt for the business is renewed.

    (b)

    No licensee or owner of any business, or any servant, agent or employee of such a licensee or owner, shall permit upon the premises housing a device, any of the following:

    (1)

    Disorderly persons;

    (2)

    Gambling, or the use, possession or presence of a simulated gambling device;

    (3)

    Intoxicated persons to loiter on the premises; or

    (4)

    Loud noise or music to emerge from the business tax premises, which noise or music is disturbing to the surrounding area.

    Failure to prohibit the activities set forth in subparagraph (b) above may result in the revocation of the business tax receipt for the business following a public hearing before the city council.
