§ 18-300. Enforcement.

(a)

The code compliance inspectors shall be authorized to enforce this article pursuant to all remedies set forth in chapter 2, article V.

(b)

The police department shall be authorized to enforce this article pursuant to all remedies set forth in chapter 2, article V and any other provision of local or state law. An officer may seize and hold as evidence, pending laboratory testing, any product that the officer has probable cause to believe contains an illicit synthetic drug as defined in this article.

(c)

In addition to any other remedies, whether civil or criminal, the city shall, at its discretion, have the right to seek the aid of the courts of the state with respect to the enforcement hereof and the violation of this article or any lawful order of the city council, code enforcement officer or law enforcement officer, which rights shall include the right to seek injunctive relief against such persons as may be determined by the city to be in violation of the terms and provisions of this article.
