§ 18-314. Violation and penalty.
It shall be a violation of this article for any business establishment to fail to comply with the requirements set forth herein. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions set forth in this article shall be subject to the penalties provided in section 1-8 of this Code and as may be imposed by the code enforcement board or special master in accordance with section 2-214 of this Code. Each day that any violation of the terms, conditions, regulations, limitations or provisions of this article shall continue to exist shall constitute a separate and distinct offense, punishable as herein provided. Any continuing violations of the terms, conditions, regulations, limitations or provisions of this article may be enjoined and restrained by an injunctive order of the circuit court in appropriate proceedings instituted for such purposes.
