    The catchlines of the several sections of this Code printed in boldface type are intended as mere catchwords to indicate the contents of the section and are not to be deemed or taken to be titles of such sections, or part of the section, nor, unless expressly so provided, shall they be so deemed when any section, including the catchline, is amended or reenacted.

    (b)

    All cross references, state law references and other editorial notes printed in eight-point type are intended for the convenience of the user of this Code and are not substantive parts of this Code.

    (c)

    All references to ordinances appearing in parenthetical form following sections of this Code are not substantive parts of this Code.

    (d)

    All references in this Code to chapters, articles, divisions or sections are to chapters, articles, divisions or sections of this Code unless provided otherwise.
