§ 2-187. Employment and termination.

(a)

Administrative officials shall be hired by the city manager and shall be dismissed by the city manager.

(b)

The city manager may enlist the services of an advisory board in the selection process of hiring an administrative official.

(c)

All administrative officials shall be at will employees with the city. No administrative official shall have any property interest in continuing employment with the city. The city manager shall have absolute authority to dismiss any such administrative official without cause at any time during the period of the administrative official's employment with the city. Such dismissal shall not be subject to review.
