It is the intent and purpose of this article to promote, protect and improve the health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Port Orange, by authorizing the
creation of an administrative board to provide an equitable, expeditious, effective
and inexpensive method of enforcing any codes and ordinances in force in the city,
where a pending or repeated violation continues to exist. Furthermore, it is the intent
and purpose of this article to give the city manager sole discretion to determine
the appropriate remedy for enforcement of each alleged violation, with full authority
to elect the code enforcement board, special master, or citation system or other legal
remedies.
