§ 2-218. Authority to issue citations.

Any law enforcement officer and/or code compliance inspector is hereby empowered to issue citations to a person when, based upon personal investigation, the officer and/or inspector has reasonable cause to believe that the person has committed a civil infraction in violation of any duly enacted city code or ordinance and that the county court will hear the charge.
