§ 2-225. Scope of article and provisions.

(a)

Nothing contained in this article or in F.S. ch. 162 shall prohibit the city council from enforcing its codes by any other means. It is the legislative intent of F.S. ch. 162 to provide an additional or supplemental means of obtaining compliance with local codes.

(b)

Adoption of this ordinance shall not require the reappointment or a change in the terms of office held by any code enforcement board member currently serving on the code enforcement board established by Code 1981, sections 7-1 through 7-8.
