§ 2-268. Cooperative purchasing.

  • The city manager may elect to purchase through or join with other governmental units in cooperative purchasing ventures when the best interest of the city would be served thereby, provided the same is in accordance with all applicable laws. If the city manager should elect to purchase through or join with other governmental agencies in cooperative purchasing ventures, all purchases in excess of $25,000.00 would require council approval before the purchasing contracts are entered into.
