§ 2-296. Council action on capital budget.

(a)

Notice and hearing. The city clerk shall publish in one or more newspapers of general circulation in the city the general summary of the capital program and a notice stating:

(1)

The times and places where copies of the capital budget are available for inspection by the public.

(2)

The time and place, not more than two weeks after such publication, for a public hearing on the capital program.

(b)

Adoption. The city council by resolution shall adopt the capital improvement plan with or without amendment after the public hearing and on or before August 15 of the current fiscal year.
