§ 2-317. Procedures.

(a)

In addition to any other requirement imposed by the state Constitution or by state law, bonds issued by the city pursuant to F.S. § 166.121 shall comply with the following procedures:

(1)

The issuance of such bonds shall be authorized by ordinance of the city council adopted in accordance with F.S. § 166.041; and

(2)

The ordinance authorizing the issuance of such bonds shall be approved by an affirmative vote of four-fifths of the city council.

(b)

In addition to any other requirement imposed by the state Constitution or by state law, lease-purchase obligations entered into by the city shall be approved by an affirmative vote of four-fifths of the city council.
