§ 38-30. Certificate of sale when sold at auction.

The city shall not guarantee title to property disposed of pursuant to this article and shall not deliver any title of ownership, but shall furnish the purchaser a certificate in substantially the following form:

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that the following described property was placed in the custody of the Police Department of Port Orange where it has been held for over 75 days, after which time, this property was sold to the highest bidder at public sale after legal advertisement, all in accordance with Ordinance No. 2-10 of the City of Port Orange, Florida.

This certificate of sale is therefore issued to ___________ residing at _____

The above form shall be executed in duplicate; the original thereof to be given to the purchaser and the duplicate filed among the records of the police department.
