§ 58-53. Limitations on number and duration of special events.

  • Special events held in conjunction with a regional event shall not exceed the duration of the regional event. All other special events shall not exceed seven consecutive calendar days unless waived or modified by the city council. No lot or parcel shall serve as a location of a special event, or any part of a special event, including parking, for more than 40 days per calendar year. The 40-day limitation applies to all special events, including major special events and minor special events as defined in this article, and sidewalk and outdoor sales events as provided in section 18-77 of this Code.
