§ 6-2. Sale near church or school.

Except as otherwise provided herein, no liquor, beer or wine shall be sold within 300 feet in an air line from any church, or public or private school operated for the instruction of minors in the common branches of learning, measured from building to building at their closest points. This section shall not apply to such places of business as are already lawfully established. This section shall not apply to restaurants whose main business is the sale and serving of food and where over 50 percent of gross sales are derived from food sales but who also serve liquor, beer or wine.
