§ 74-183. Service generally.

Latest version.
  • Reclaimed water service may be provided for properties located within the city as established by the city's reclaimed water availability map and such other criteria as set forth in chapter 11 of the land development code and the provisions for such services as set forth in this article and the land development code. Reclaimed water may be made available in accordance with the reclaimed water availability map as the reclaimed water distribution system is extended. All applications for service within this area map boundary shall be reviewed by the city manager or his designee, who may approve such service connection to the property if in their opinion an adequate supply of reclaimed water is available or is anticipated to be available to meet all the anticipated future needs of the property. If not, the customer may be given the option to become an interruptible reclaimed water customer. The city manager or his designee shall review and technically approve all service line sizes and reclaimed water main extension sizes and related design plans as appropriate prior to actual approval being granted in accordance with chapter 11 of the land development code and standard construction details.
