§ 74-190. Nonirrigation use.

  • Reclaimed water service may be provided as a source of water for nonirrigation applications. All applications for nonirrigation uses shall be reviewed and approved by the city manager or his designee. All reclaimed water from nonirrigation uses that is discharged to the sanitary sewer must meet all city, state and federal discharge regulations. A sewer charge for processing of the discharge shall be applied in addition to the monthly reclaimed water fee. No reclaimed water shall be discharged in such a manner that it flows off site as an overland flow or into an off-site drainage system. The city shall require the installation of a reclaimed water meter or other devices to determine the quantity used or returned to the wastewater system.
