§ 74-192. Maintenance of facilities by customer.

The property owner or customer shall be responsible for the maintenance of all plumbing facilities including the internal system, gate valves, irrigation lines and appurtenances on the property served by the city under this article. The city reserves the right to disconnect the service to any property that does not maintain the property's system. In addition, should the customer require reclaimed water at different pressures or of different quality or in any way different from that normally supplied by the city, the property owner shall be responsible for the necessary devices (e.g., pressure reducing valves) to make these adjustments, and obtain approval for installation from the city manager or his designee. Such devices and the repair thereof shall be the sole responsibility of the property owner or customer.
