§ 74-250. Special provision for tank trucks, developers.

Water used to fill tank trucks, such as pest control vehicles, from city-approved sources shall be measured through a city-approved meter, such meter shall be either supplied by the customer and approved by the city or provided by the city. A reduced pressure or air gap separation backflow prevention device shall be installed on any fill line being utilized. Tank truck owners shall have their backflow prevention devices checked annually by a state certified backflow prevention tester and shall provide proof of such testing to the city monthly, at the time the truck's water meter is read by the city. The backflow testing certificate shall not exceed one year from the previous test date, or connection to a city approved source shall be denied.
