§ 18-254. Additional operational requirements for adult performance establishments.

  • In addition to complying with the general operational requirements provided in section 18-252, adult performance establishments shall comply with all of the following additional operational requirements:

    (a)

    Any stage provided for the display or exposure of any specified anatomical area by an worker to a patron shall consist of a permanent platform (or other similar permanent structure) raised a minimum of 18 inches above the surrounding floor and encompassing an area of at least 100 square feet.

    (b)

    For any area in which a private performance occurs, the licensee shall:

    (1)

    Provide a permanently open entrance not less than 32 inches wide and not less than six feet high, which entrance shall not have curtain rods, hinges, rails or similar features that would allow the entrance to be blocked, closed or covered, in whole or in part; and

    (2)

    Ensure that, except for the entrance, all walls and partitions are of solid construction without any holes or openings in such walls or openings.
