§ 2-93. Composition, qualifications of members.

(a)

The city council shall appoint a five-member charter review board. Each member shall be a qualified elector residing in the city. Members shall not hold any elective public office. Members may serve on other advisory boards of the city.

(b)

Members of the board shall be concerned about good government at all levels and, in particular, the municipal level. They should have a good working knowledge of state laws pertaining to municipal home rule government in general and the city charter and form of government in the city as set forth by the city charter.
