§ 70-68. Exceptions.

(a)

Marked vehicles of public safety and public service agencies shall be exempt from this article. Unmarked public safety and public service vehicles shall be issued decals/placards without charge for official use only. Public service vehicles shall be limited to governmental and franchised public utility vehicles.

(b)

Lawn care, pest control, courier, and other service vehicles shall be exempt from this article so long as the vehicle is properly parked in front of the residence which is actively receiving the service. This exemption is only valid between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., except in case of emergency service calls.
