§ 74-184. Availability of service.

Latest version.
  • The existence of a reclaimed water main adjacent to or near the premises of an applicant for the service does not necessarily mean that the service is available to that location. The city may opt to install a reclaimed water service line upon request by an applicant and upon the payment in advance of all costs required to construct the connection. The city may also refuse to provide such reclaimed water service due to limited supplies or excessive reclaimed water demands of the applicant. Should the applicant be approved as a reclaimed water customer then every effort shall be made by the customer to utilize reclaimed water whenever it is available unless another lower grade source of water becomes available, such as stormwater.
