§ 74-246. Lien for city service charges.

In the event a property owner or customer fails to eliminate a prohibited cross connection or other violation of this article, and with written permission of the property owner or upon lawful order the city installs, constructs, inspects or tests a backflow prevention device or repairs, replaces or removes a prohibited cross connection, the city shall file a lien against the property in the public records for the unpaid costs of city service charges as authorized by section 2-240.
